We were established in 1946 as an independent family run cast aluminium foundry business. The company is an organisation with a skilled, dedicated and highly motivated work force, of up to 30 employees. We have a tradition of product quality and delivery within 24hrs from receipt of order (nationally). This is achieved by continuous investment and through updating the company's technology, capability and stock of products. Over 1,000,000 castings are currently held. We are the largest producer of commercial vehicle corner castings in the UK, and the 2nd largest manufacturer of cast aluminium rainwater products.

Our ethical position...

Since 1985 H & B has not just talked about protecting the environment and setting dubious targets - H & B has actually reduced the energy used in manufacture by over 94%, or the energy per £1 of output is just 5.17% of that used in 1985. 100% of all castings produced by H & B are from recycled aluminium.

We will NOT move production to a third world country for short term price gain at the expense of the planet.

H & B deplores the use of slave labour and sweatshops.  WE WILL NOT THRIVE FROM THE MISERY OF OTHERS.  When you buy from H & B it is:

Trading Terms 2006

1) All prices are EX-WORKS.

2) All deliveries over £2000 are carriage free. All deliveries under that figure will be charged at £20 per consignment plus £0.40 per Kilo.

3) All deliveries are sent on an over-night carrier.

4) Any discrepancy between delivery note and goods received must be reported within 3 working days after delivery.

5) Payment terms are 30 days from the end of the month of delivery.

6) All goods remain the property of Hall & Botterill Ltd until payment is received in full.

7) AM Upgrade £32.00 Ppus 50p per kilo.

8) Before 9AM upgrade £45.00 plus 60p per kilo.
